Having been in the building industry for the past 30 years we have seen so much waste.  Our aim is to try and reduce that waste by using salvaged, reclaimed and sustainably sourced timber in our finely crafted, contemporary designs.

We predominately use salvaged & reclaimed Australian hardwoods rescued from building & demolition sites around South East Queensland & the Wide Bay Burnett regions.  Most of what we salvage are structural timbers like floor joists & bearers, roof trusses, support beams & posts.  All of these timbers tell their own story & we aim to let this character shine through.  When we are unable to source a particular type of timber requested by a client via salvage or reclaimed supplies we purchase our new timbers from timber merchants specializing in sustainable timber stocks.

Most people think that custom made must come with a huge price tag but our finely crafted, contemporary vanities, benchtops & furniture pieces are priced competitively to compare with their laminex counterparts.   Our products are made to last & each piece is uniquely different due to the individual characters in the salvaged & reclaimed timbers.

All of our designs, whether made from reclaimed/salvaged timbers or new are finished in Osmo PolyX Oil Varnish.  This is an oil & wax finish that is hard wearing and highly resistant to spills (although it is not recommended to leave any spills to settle on the surface & should be cleaned immediately with a damp cloth).

Products supplied by Revive Timber Designs hold a 2-year structural warranty.  We use high quality, furniture grade hardwoods & with combining quality craftsmanship & modern technology we aim to create products that will stand the test of time when used & cared for as intended.

Natural environmental factors will affect the condition of the timber which can lead to cupping, timber splitting, shrinkage, expansion and timber finish discolouration which unfortunately cannot be warranted.

For all of our furniture, yes it does, as it is all handmade from scratch in our workshop.  Some timbers are harder to source or have longer milling times and this can push out our lead times.  We do keep a selection of vanities and bench tops in stock at all times but if you require a particular size or timber these will need to be crafted from scratch.

Our standard 1200mm vanity unit weighs around 65kgs.  If you are not sure of the best solution/installation, get your builder or installer to speak to us.
